Senior Backend Engineer

You will own critical parts of our payment and payout infrastructure — designing reliable, secure and high-throughput APIs that move real money for thousands of businesses.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and scale Node.js services and REST APIs for payments and payouts
• Model data and optimise queries on MongoDB for high-volume transactions
• Ensure reliability, idempotency and security across money-movement flows
• Integrate with banking and NPCI partner systems and handle reconciliation
• Write clean, well-tested code and mentor junior engineers

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years building backend services in Node.js / TypeScript
• Strong experience with MongoDB or other databases at scale
• Understanding of payment systems, webhooks and async processing
• Care for security, observability and clean architecture
